“We stayed at Europa Palace as part of our honeymoon, and the hotel made us feel genuinely welcomed from the start. On arrival, our room had been dressed with a lovely handwritten card, snacks, and champagne — a sweet touch. We did notice the card for the previous guests had been left underneath ours, which gave us a little giggle. The hotel itself is beautiful — spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed and a lovely bathroom. Reception was warm and helpful throughout, and Leonardo in particular deserves a special mention. When we arrived just before high season, we discovered the hotel’s own beach club wasn’t open yet, and all nearby beach clubs turned out not to allow dogs — a frustrating start given the website lists the hotel as dog-friendly. Leonardo stepped in quickly with a solution, which made us feel genuinely seen and taken care of. The location is fantastic — well-situated in Sanremo, close to the beach, the boulevard, great restaurants, and shops. Our room didn’t have garden access (that’s reserved for higher-category rooms), which felt a little closed off during such lovely weather, but it’s worth knowing when booking. On the weekends, they host a rooftop brunch with a truly breathtaking view over Sanremo. It’s on the pricier side, but the setting and service make it a worthwhile splurge. Breakfast was excellent — a generous buffet with a great mix of savory and sweet options, including chia pudding and a dedicated gluten-free section, which was a lovely surprise. The gym, while good in size doesn’t have a lot of material to work with. When we were there with another couple, it was quite crowded. But it gets the job done and it’s a nice amenity to have. Valet service was smooth and attentive as always — bags up and down without a second thought. Do factor in the daily parking and dog fees if you’re staying for several nights, as they add up over a longer stay. All in all, a lovely stay in a beautiful setting, made extra special by genuinely warm hospitality”

“The Europa Palace in Sanremo was the perfect first stop on the Italian portion of our Riviera honeymoon. The staff was very kind, especially our gal Eliza, and the hotel is very new and chic. Make sure to visit the thermal bathes, it was such a treat to have that available during our stay. My favorite part of the room was the shower - a luxurious rainfall with a view of the sea. Thank you for making our honeymoon stay so unforgettable!”

“Very nice Hotel in Sanremo. New clean spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed . The reception were very welcoming answering all my questions with open-mindedness. Helpful to guide me to the best restaurants , shops around. Special thanks to Leonardo for his kindness and guidance. Breakfast is excellent. Their chef made a good choices of eggs . You can choose one item from the menu and the buffet is diverse enough. Gluten free section is available. You must try their homemade cheese cake . The staff is wonderful from their manager who welcomed us always with a smile and make your special order easy to fulfill to ten kind waiters special thanks to Shayma so nice and helpful.. I really enjoyed my stay will recommend this hotel for friends and for sure I will visit it next time .. Europe Palace will be my one and only only stay in Sanremo .”

“We spent a couple of nights at the Hotel Europe Palace in San Remo. The location is undeniably central—just opposite the Casino—which makes it very convenient for exploring the city. However, this also comes with a downside: significant noise and traffic well into the late evening. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was a highlight, featuring a large shower area and a good-quality hairdryer. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows and bed linens were made of modern synthetic materials. Unfortunately, this made the nights uncomfortably warm, and I often woke up feeling hot and sweaty due to the fabric. Breakfast was enjoyable, with the added perk of being able to order a few complimentary extras from a small menu. The experience, however, varied depending on the staff member on duty. Some were very professional, while others seemed inexperienced, which led to inconsistent service. There is definitely room for improvement in this area. However, the staff in the reception is very helpful, friendly and kind. Young, beautiful and dynamic. A good recruitment. The cleaning staff made also an impeccable job. The rooms were always very clean. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, it was a pleasant stay..”
